The detection of compressed air and gas leaks can be more or less problematic depending on the accessibility of the systems. In many industrial environments, pipelines, fittings, and connections are located in confined, elevated, or obstructed areas, making standard leak detection challenging. To address these conditions, we therefore offer special accessories for our LD 500/510 leak detectors to facilitate leak detection in difficult-to-access areas.
These accessories are specifically designed to extend the usability and flexibility of the LD 500 / LD 510 ultrasound leak detectors, ensuring reliable results even in complex installations. These include, for example, a special acoustic trumpet, which amplifies ultrasonic signals, a focus tube with focus tip for precise, targeted detection, the so-called flexible “gooseneck” for reaching narrow or angled spaces, and a parabolic mirror for detecting leaks at greater distances or inaccessible positions.
By using these dedicated accessories, users can significantly improve leak detection accuracy, reduce inspection time, and ensure that no leaks are overlooked due to poor accessibility.
