The Parker OFAS HL Oil Free Air System is a fully integrated compressed air treatment solution designed to deliver clean, dry and oil-free compressed air for critical industrial applications. Combining advanced filtration with a heatless adsorption dryer, the system ensures compressed air purity while improving operational efficiency and reducing maintenance requirements.
Compressed air contamination—particularly from oil, water vapour and particulates—can lead to equipment damage, production defects and costly downtime. The OFAS HL system eliminates these risks by providing multi-stage purification and adsorption drying, ensuring that compressed air meets the most demanding air quality standards.
The system incorporates five stages of purification, effectively removing up to eight contaminants from compressed air systems (or ten contaminants when the optional water separator stage is included). Integrated OIL-X filtration protects the drying system and removes oil aerosols and particulates before and after the drying process.
A key feature of the OFAS HL system is its third adsorption column dedicated to oil vapour removal, ensuring extremely low residual oil levels in the compressed air supply. The system has been independently validated by Lloyd's Register to achieve ISO 8573-1 Class 0 for total oil content, even when used with oil-lubricated compressors. This guarantees the highest level of oil-free compressed air directly at the point of use.
The OFAS HL system can be installed either in compressor rooms or at point-of-use locations, offering flexible installation for a wide range of compressed air systems. The integrated HMI display screen provides clear operational information, enabling easy monitoring of system performance and maintenance requirements.
To maximise efficiency, the system includes two energy-saving technologies as standard, reducing purge air consumption and overall energy usage. Combined with corrosion-protected construction and full bore internal flow paths, the design ensures reliable operation, minimal pressure loss and long service life.
