The Parker Airtek TWB Series Blower Purge Desiccant Air Dryer is designed to remove contaminants such as dirt particles, water, oil, oil vapour and condensate from industrial compressed air systems. These contaminants can lead to increased maintenance costs, premature equipment wear, damaged pneumatic components and compromised product quality if left untreated.
The TWB Series uses a twin-tower adsorption drying system that ensures continuous and reliable compressed air drying. While compressed air passes through one desiccant tower where moisture is removed, the second tower undergoes regeneration. This alternating cycle allows the dryer to deliver a consistent pressure dew point and uninterrupted air supply.
Regeneration of the desiccant bed is achieved using a blower purge system, where an atmospheric blower supplies hot air through an external electric heater to remove accumulated moisture from the desiccant material. The regeneration cycle is then followed by a cooling phase using a small flow of dry compressed air from the dryer outlet to maintain stable dew point performance.
The TWB Series provides pressure dew points of -40°C or -70°C, meeting ISO 8573.1:2001 compressed air quality standards. Designed with proven engineering and robust components, the system includes Parker Airtek pre- and after filters as standard, ensuring effective contaminant removal and reliable system protection.
