It measures operating volume flow and mass flow, while measurement of the standard volume flow through integrated pressure and temperature measurement eliminates the need for external compensation devices.
The sensor performs reliably under dynamic process conditions, as it is suitable for rapidly changing temperature and pressure changes as well as large mass flows. Compared to conventional technologies, it offers a larger measuring span than usual vortex flow sensors, improving flexibility across a wide range of applications.
With no moving parts, the sensor requires low maintenance effort and delivers consistent long-term accuracy. Additionally, it features negligible low pressure loss due to negligible low blockage of the diameter, ensuring minimal impact on system efficiency.
For seamless system integration, the sensor provides 04...20 mA, pulse and a Modbus RTU (RS 485) interface as standard, with optional interfaces such as Modbus TCP (Ethernet), PoE, M-Bus. It supports a pressure range up to 40 bar and operates reliably within a temperature range from -40°C to 100°C.
User interaction is simplified through an integrated display for showing the measured values, with settings adjustable via the buttons on the display. The main counter reading can be reset via the display, allowing easy operation and monitoring directly on site.
Available in multiple sizes, the sensor is available from DN15 to DN80 and supports velocities from 0.3 m/s to 30 m/s, delivering high accuracy of 1% deviation of the measured value across its entire measuring range.
