The VA 570 thermal mass flow meter measures mass flow directly and provides standardized volume flow output without the need for additional pressure or temperature measurement. Thanks to the thermal mass flow principle, pressure and temperature compensation is inherently included.
All wetted parts are made of stainless steel, making the VA 570 particularly suitable for applications with high purity requirements and excellent surface quality. The robust aluminium housing ensures reliable operation in harsh industrial environments as well as outdoor installations.
With no moving parts, the instrument is low maintenance and offers a vanishingly low pressure loss due to negligible blockage of the pipe diameter. ATEX or DVGW certification is available, making the device suitable for natural gas, hydrogen, biogas, and other flammable gases.
The sensor can be easily installed and removed from the measuring section. The measuring section remains in the pipeline during cleaning or recalibration and can be safely closed with a sealing cap, minimizing downtime.
